Visitor Information

Bayfront Health Brooksville understands family members and friends are an important part of the healing process for our patients and we welcome you to visit. Normal visiting hours are Monday through Friday 8 am - 4 pm. and 12 - 4 pm on Weekends. Please be advised, however, that different hours may exist in certain areas including the Intensive Care Unit. See the chart below. If you have any questions regarding specific visiting hours, we encourage you to call (352) 796-5111.

Visiting hours are subject to change, depending on an individual patient’s condition or activity occurring on the nursing unit. The nurse or physician may limit visiting at their discretion. 

Visitors to Bayfront Health Brooksville should check in at the information desk located in the main lobby of the hospital.  All visitors will be required to wear a guest pass while on the hospital campus. 

The main entrance doors are open to the public from 8 am to 4 pm. After hours, guests are requested to enter the hospital through the Emergency entrance where they will receive a guest pass from the ER registration specialist.  

  • Please check with a nurse before bringing food or beverages to a patient. 
  • Visitors are requested to keep visits brief and speak softly.
  • If you are sick or have symptoms of sickness, please do not visit the patient.  
  • Smoking is restricted to designated smoking areas. For the location nearest you, please check with the nurse.
  • Complimentary coffee is available in our cafeteria, located on the first floor of the hospital. Vending machines are located in the Emergency area and just outside the cafeteria.

Pediatrics

 

No visitors with signs or symptoms of an infection, cold, cough, fever.

 

Parents, grandparents and siblings

All visitors must call into the Pediatric unit, using phones located at the door to request entrance.

All ages, ages under 12 must be supervised at all times.
